Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in atoll lagoons (Ref. 97298). Very common on reef flats and common in seaward reef (Ref. 102252). Usually on subtidal rocks and coral reefs (Ref. 102838). Cryptic. Feeds on algae and microbes (Refs. 102252, 129602). Occasionally parasitized by Stilifer linckiae (Ref. 129602).
