Max. size:  0.3 cm DL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 10 - 95 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific, Eastern Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Arctic and the Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oceanic species, but can tolerate neritic conditions (Ref. 7862). Members of the order Thecosomata are mostly simultaneous hermaphrodites (Ref. 102997).
