Max. size:  1.27 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 73 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: USA, Puerto Rico and Colombia.
Diagnosis:  Smooth valves although minutely granulose under close examination. Color: Colored scarlet to dark-red with some flecks of gray or white. Girdle: Naked, leathery and brownish in color (Ref. 281).
Biology:  Epibiotic (Ref. 110502).
