Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Members of the genus Labidocera have often been assumed to be mainly carnivorous but there are some evidences of herbivory (Ref. 115369). Members of the subclass Copepoda are gonochoric and sexually dimorphic. During copulation, male glues spermatophores to the female's venter. Life cycle: Eggs undergo six naupliar and five larval stages before becoming an adult (Ref. 833).
