Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 35 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Caribbean Sea, Cozumel, Mexico to Bermuda and south to Venezuela.
Diagnosis:  Formation: massive, meandroid, with short sinuous valleys. Septa: thin, with pointed fine teeth. Columella centers hard to distinguish. Color: often light green, lavender or yellow; valleys and walls in contrasting color (Ref. 848).
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 116012. Zooxanthellate (Ref. 116012). Throughout the Caribbean in a variety of reef habitats (Ref. 415), e.g., shallow protected reef environments (Ref. 848).
