It has a maximum total length of 16 cm; and a carapace length of 1.5 to 6.3 cm (Ref. 4). Occurs at a depth range from 20 to 455 m, on soft muddy bottoms. It digs into the substrate and covers itself with the mud and sand (Ref. 4). |
