Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Philippines, New Caledonia and Singapore.
Biology:  Found on loose rocks and sand patches on drying reef (Ref. 101268). Also inhabits wave exposed rocky shores. Feeds on epilithic algae by grazing (Ref. 85382).
