Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 100 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Western Indian Ocean to Australia, Indonesia, the South China Sea and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Found in coral, sponge, coralline algae or rock crevices in rocky and coral reefs (Ref. 3099).
