Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 167 m
Distribution:  Circumglobal in warm water: South Equatorial Stream.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Marine, planktonic (Ref. 1134). It is found exclusively on oceanic waters; however in other regions there is preferential distribution in neritic waters and oceanic warm zones (Ref. 3528).
