Max. size:  4 cm COLD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Skeleton are similar to those of Euphyllia glabrescens with corallites 20-40 millimeters in diameter. Polyps have tentacles with anchor-shaped ends similar to those of E. ancora. Tentacle tips form concentric circles that may be pale tan or greenish-brown in color.
Biology:  In shallow to deep reef habitats (Ref. 98471).
