Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colony: massive, either rounded or hillocky. Corallites: very thick walls, tend to become subplocoid. Paliform lobes may be developed. Color: often uniform pale yellowish- or greenish-brown (Ref. 848).
Biology:  Occurs in shallow reef environments (Ref. 848).
