Distribution:  Atlantic and Pacific Oceans: USA and Canada.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Colonial (Ref. 19). Found in low spur and groove zones and fore-reef slope on substrates composed of dead corals and gorgonians. In Belize, it is found at depths of 7-31 m. As with other hydroids, this species exhibits a pelagic medusoid stage.
