Max. size:	15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:	benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 28 m
Distribution:	Eastern Pacific, Southwest Atlantic and the Arctic.
Diagnosis:	It is bright yellow to yellow-orange with dark markings both on and between the tubercles, or bumps, on its back; and an oval body with seven gills. Its oral tentacles are ear-shaped (Ref. 312).
Biology:	Occurs in low intertidal to subtidal zones with hard substrate. Feeds on sponges (Ref. 312), e.g., Halichondria sp. (Ref. 822). Also in Ref. 93916.
