Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Forms dense aggregations adjacent to the beach on the most shoreward aspect of a fringing reef. Tube-building species. Constructs vertically oriented tubes that resemble inverted J's as the tube opening faces the substratum (Ref. 123288).
