Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116065. Prefers quiet environments (Ref. 1757). Found in seagrass meadows at depths of 1 to 3 m (Ref. 1755). Grows on Rhizophora roots and directly on the exposed peat bank (Ref. 1758).
