Distribution:	Indian Ocean: Qatar, India and Pakistan.
Diagnosis:
Biology:	Depth range based on occurrence in Qatar (Ref. 107880); to be replaced with a better reference. Scaphopods are selective microcarnivores, feeding on microscopic organisms particularly forams. It also feeds on juvenile bivalves and kinorhynchs. Some species may be selective detritivores (Ref. 833).
