Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 160 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Jordan to Japan, Australia and Marshall Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Free-living species and sometimes associated with sea anemones (Ref. 81533). Common in intertidal pools (Ref. 81686). Also found on hard bottom (Ref. 106854).
