Max. size:  2.8 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 80 m
Distribution:  Northeast Pacific: Gulf of Alaska, USA, Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Usually found in estuaries, along the intertidal zone buried in mud and sand; may be up to 50 cm or more deep in the substrate; with its short siphon, feeds from burrowing shrimp and echiurid worm burrows (Ref. 95344). Commensal with Urechis caupo (Ref. 1175).
