Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 5 - 52 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Usually buried in the sand during the day but actively foraging for food during evening and early dawn hours. Preys on annelid worms (Ref. 349).
