Distribution:  Antarctic.
Diagnosis:  White or pale yellow. Round, with distinctive tufts of long spicules. May grow up to 30 cm in height (Ref. 89939).
Biology:  Suspension feeders. Preyed on by starfishes, with spicules providing defense to some extent (Ref. 89939).
