Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: India, Tanzania, China and Japan.
Diagnosis:  Up to 30 cm wide, hemispherical or flatter; rhopalar stomach pouches oval, in middle portion twice as wide, at the margin half as wide as tentacular pouches; 3 tentacles per octant; umbrella yellowish-brown or reddish-yellow, with a 32 rayed chestnut-brown star on exumbrella.
