Max. size:  12 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: Liberia, South Africa and Western Africa.
Diagnosis:  Up to 15 m high, 12 m wide, each pedalium with 9 to 11 tentacles upon as many long, tapering, finger-;like processes.
Biology:  Length is based on bell width.
