Max. size:  12 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean: from Cape Verde and Senegal to Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Terrestrial and lives in burrows in marshy ground near lagoons, also on higher grounds as long as the burrow can reach saline ground water (Ref. 435).
