Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 75 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: From Los Angeles to Peru and northern Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth range from Ref. 121685. Euryhaline species which can tolerate salinity levels from 1-65 (Refs. 119326, 119328) and can be found at temperatures of 17.5-34°C (Ref. 119326). Found in coastal lagoons and estuaries (Ref. 111237).
