Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 5 - 12 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: East Africa to Japan, Tonga, Fiji, and Marshall Islands.
Diagnosis:  Has a unique shape. Characterized by a yellow mantle covered in elongate white pink-tipped tubercles.
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Subtidal species. Favours tidal channels and strong currents (Ref. 844).
