Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Western Central Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on soft substrate (Ref. 112705). Lives in shallow waters on sponges, algae, gorgonians and coral rubble (Ref. 107151). Occurs in the arms or disc of the ophiuroid Ophiocoma echinata (Ref. 116239).
