Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Has a wide variety of shell form and color, from narrow and dark brown to wide and yellow (Ref. 125512).
Biology:  Found intertidal on rocks and sand (Ref. 53). Also found attached on pier pilings, rocks, and boulders (Ref. 75840). On exposed rocky shores, amongst Mytilisepta virgata beds (Ref. 126136).
