Distribution:  Southeast Pacific and the Antarctic: Chile and Antarctica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Contact to this species may cause dermatitis (Ref. 87801). This species is found on rock walls at depths of 10 to 1,080 m. It is often used as a substrate of other species such as tunicates of cnidarians. It can tolerate stress through fine sediments (Ref. 87801).
