Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 1719 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific, Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on bay and nearshore, outer continental shelf and slope (Ref. 116106). Ctenophores are carnivores (Ref. 833). Feeds on other planktivorous comb jellies and Mnemiopsis leidyi (Ref. 64473).
