Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 12 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: New Zealand and Australia. Tropical to subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Known from depths of 0 to 12 m (Ref. 7727). Feeds on small anemones inhabiting the fronds of large kelp (Ref. 844).
