Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 30 m
Distribution:  Circumtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lives in pairs in simple burrows (Ref. 87257) among coarse sand and coral rubble (Ref. 86837) at edges of seagrass meadows (Ref. 87256) and shallow back-reef areas (Ref. 87268). May exhibit debris-capturing behavior as they eat drifting plants (Ref. 86848).
