Distribution:	Indo-Pacific: Society Islands.
Diagnosis:	Variable number and placement of tubular and pointed spines on the chelifores and legs. No lateral process tubercles or spines; anterolateral corners of the cephalic segment lack any form of small tubercles.
Biology:	Most pycnogonids are carnivores feeding on soft-bodied organisms such as hydroids, soft corals, anemones, bryozoans, small polychaetes and sponges. Some consume algae, microorganisms or detritus (Ref. 833).
