Family:  Alpheidae (snapping shrimps)
Max. size:  1.82 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range - 20 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: Gulf of Guinea and São Tomé and Principe.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in crevices in rock outcrops and occasionally in coral rubble. May bore tunnels and cavities into upper portions of rocks (Ref. 80376).
