Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Possibly endemic to Chile. Subtropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on rocky and biogenic substrates such as dead gorgonians or chitons at depths of 6 to 350 m. In some colonies, pink eggs or larvae were observed through the transparent body wall of some polyps (Ref. 87801).
