Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 18 - 115 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: USA, Cuba and Bahamas.
Diagnosis:  Orange to light brown fans arising from a narrower base. Thin, with round oscules on the exposed surface. Branching; massive. Tough consistency.
Biology:  Inhabits coralline algae reefs. Recorded to be coverd by a film of green algae (Ref. 128739).
