Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific: Canada and USA.
Biology:  Species exhibits both asexual and sexual reproduction by budding during hydroid stage and release of gametes in medusae stages (Ref. 1663, p. 19, 26).
