Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic and Southeast Pacific: Argentina and Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on soft and hard rocky substrates, at depths of 15 to 820 meters, in crevices or irregularities of the bottom, and may be associated with hard corals like Desmophyllum dianthus, in inner fjords, channels and exposed areas (Ref. 87801).
