Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean and the Black Sea and Indian Ocean. Climate: Temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 111259. This is a benthic interstitial species, found in beach and shorelines (Ref. 111259). Sometimes found in medium and coarse sand, including Amphioxus sand, this species seems to prefer well-sorted fine sand, even if rich in detritus (Ref. 2243).
