Remarks Intertidal, on exposed rocky shores (Refs. 799, 75835). Occupy the mid and low intertidal zone. Graze on microalgae, encrusting macroalgae, and their spores. Exhibits homing behavior (Ref. 127113). Found amongst Mytilisepta virgata beds (Ref. 126136). Part of the fouling communities attached to raft frames in mariculture zones (Ref. 127121).
