Remarks Found in estuarine and inshore areas (Ref. 96352). Inhabits muddy detritic areas (Ref. 2780). Prefers substrates with particularly high mud content along near-coastal zones. A carnivore-scavenger (Ref. 96352); secretes slime when handled (Ref. 7882).
