Ecology of Zelinkiella synaptae

Main Ref. Hansson, H.G., 1998
Remarks Found on the body surface and tentacles of sea cucumbers, Synapta inhoerens and S. digitata (Ref. 115922) and polychaetous annelids (Terebellidae) (Ref. 115921). Little is known on the relationship of the rotifer with the sea cucumbers, but it is suggested that it is commensal on the integument of the echinoderm (Ref. 115922).
