Remarks Found in upper parts of the intertidal zone of sheltered beaches, between mean high water springs and mid-tide level; in the retention zone and upper parts of the resurgence zone but not in the saturation zone (Ref. 95808). It is infaunal to sand (Ref. 95819). Grazing on microbenthic flora of sand grains (Ref. 95807). It can cope in areas with high exposure and low salinity (Ref. 95730).
