comments Known from Grover's Reef Atoll (Ref. 85586), in a mangrove pond at Cat Cay (Ref. 86789, 87213), northeast Cay, Pelican Cays (Ref. 86570, 87213), and in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay at a depth of 10 m (Ref. 87209). Mass mortalities due to white band disease has not occurred in Belize Barrier Reef for the past 3,000 to 4,000 years (Ref. 87222); and the decline in cover was observed after 1986 (Ref. 89921).
