Distribution: Pacific Ocean separates the two subspecies. Sipunculus phalloides phalloides: Caribbean from the West Indies, Barbados and Brazil; Eastern Pacific, from Costa Rica and Galapagos Islands; and, eastern Atlantic, off Ivory Coast. Sipunculus phalloides inclusus: Indonesia and southern Japan. Mostly tropical.
