Remarks Sampling was done in September 2010, June, July, and September 2011, via 10m radial survey sampling at a depth range of 0-30 m. The highest mean density of juvenile Lobatus gigas in theopen fishing areas was in seagrass beds and at depths of 7-12 m, and lowest in linear reef habitats. They are absent in colonized pavement with channels and at depths of 25-30 m (Ref. 121909).
