Remarks Sampling was done in September 2010, June, July, and September 2011, via 10m radial survey sampling at a depth range of 0-30 m. The highest mean density of juvenile Lobatus gigas in the Buck Island Reef National Monument was in seagrass beds and at depths of 13-18 m, and lowest in colonized pavement with channels. They are absent at depths of 25-30 m (Ref. 121909).
