Distribution:  Northern Pacific: known from the Sea of Okhotsk and Kuril Islands to the Bering Sea and Alaska in the Aleutian Islands. Polar to boreal.
Diagnosis:  Culmen: 1.01 cm; tarsus: 2.18 cm; wing: 10.98 cm.
Biology:  Total Length: 17 to 18 cm (Ref. 8812). Pursuit diving; coastal; <16 km (Ref. 356).
